Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, close to many local attractions, but the noisy check-in area was a bit off-putting. The service was a mix of extremely friendly staff and a few who seemed standoffish. The dining options were good, although limited, and the rooms, while dark and with a strange smell, were adequate for my needs.
I had a great stay at the hotel, with lovely views of downtown Seattle and Mt. Rainier from my room. The double blinds provided great privacy and blackout during the day, even though the room faced busy roads and traffic. The location was very convenient to stadiums, Pike Market, and public transportation. The service was fabulous, although the price was a bit high at $650 including tax and valet. The dining options were good, though slightly pricey, but the oatmeal surprised me with its quality at the buffet.
The hotel had a mixed experience with rooms offering a bad peek-a-boo view of the water in a paid upgrade to a King Suite, but unfortunately ending up in someone else's room that smelled like a mixture of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The service was professional and welcoming overall, but overpriced in certain aspects such as valet parking. The location was fantastic, very close to Pikes Place and the airport, but lacked parking facilities. The dining options were good, especially for a quick bite, and the facilities seemed to meet expectations.
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its out-of-this-world cleanliness and incredibly comfortable beds. The rooms were spotless and offered nice linens and amenities, although a coffee machine would have been a great addition. The service was a mix of very responsive interactions like changing our room for free with no hassle, but also some unhelpful moments during check-in. The location was central enough for walkers, close to many restaurants, and even provided tickets to a fantastic New Year's Eve bash, yet not the best if you have a rental car. The dining options were good overall, especially the oatmeal, but somewhat limited in selection and pricier. The facilities were up to top standards, making my stay pleasant and convenient.
